Description
Small mod that adds the permadeath state to every combat unit outside territorial supply range.

That means in comparison to the Permadeath v1 mod:
  • this applies to all combat units and not only the vanilla units (e.g. all units from the Classical World mod will be covered as well)
  • permadeath will only apply if a unit is out of supply range, i.e. sufficiently far away from an owned city or fort, if it's in supply no permadeath applies. This strengthens defensive play and makes aggressive play more risky.

Technically speaking, this mod uses a script, while v1 relies on modifying the xml files.

There may be fringe cases though. Since the script runs daily, a brigade might have already moved into supply tertitory without its attribute re permadeath being changed yet by script and then die. Or the other way around.

so... basically if my unit dies OUTSIDE of the supply area (that cities/forts gives) it will permadeath, but if it is INSIDE it wont?

As long as my units die inside i will still have them?
