This mod adds several new apparel designed to take advantage of new CE mechanics. The goal is to fill in niches in the vanilla lineup while keeping the overall apparel count as low as possible to cut down on clutter.

Currently includes:

Loadbearing gear -
Large backpack

Headgear -
Balaclava
Sombrero
Ballistic goggles

Other -
Gambeson
Cuirass
Jumpsuit
Poncho
Soft armor vest
Frag suit

New textures for the advanced and simple helmets and the flak vest.

TO USE CE ARMORY AND ARMORS:

Go to the github page and click the green button that says "Code" and click Download ZIP.
when you unzip the file, you should have a folder called "CombatExtendedArmors-development" for armory and CombatExtendedArmory-development" for guns.

these folders go into the mods folder in ...\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods and they should just work

Does this mod really require Combat Extended, or can I use it to just get the armors while playing with vanilla combat?

I believe updating CE fixed it.

you are right, from my testing, only the large backpack is doing the trick
