Forgotten Nations - Deprecated

With the announcement of Graveyard of Empires, I have made the difficult decision to end support of the mod. I was not able to close the Gotterdammerung update, and the challenge of another update on the horizon is significant. This is due to the emerging complexities of each update, which requires significant retooling behind the scenes with little visible gain (apart from compatibility).

More broadly, to some extent the raison d'être for this mod is also fading - with each DLC the 'Forgotten Nations' are remembered. There is some irony in the incredible predictive power of this mod, with updates being followed by official releases at an almost relentless pace (Greece / Belgium / Middle East etc.).

Thank you to all of those who played and especially those who left supportive comments.

The mod may still be played on version 1.14 (Trial of Allegiance patch).

This mod adds significant content to the nations which Paradox 'forgot' - or rather were too lazy to implement. The goal of the mod is to expand the content of the game in a manner in line with vanilla game design. This mod currently includes content for 189 different tags, including the following:
