With how often they call out uncommons you’d think they suffer from short-term memory loss

Unfortunately, after looking at the amount of voice lines to mute ( several thousands! ), I decided that I will not be making an add-on that mutes the special infected call-outs. I do not want to damage my mental health even further and I myself was not going to use that add-on.
It could be much easier if I could simply make one empty sound file and replace other lines with it, but no, each file must keep its exact length to prevent the white noise from occurring when the game triggers an event where that sound file is involved, thus each file must be recompiled manually.
There is probably a way to mute the needed lines with a simple script… Which I am unable to do due to the lack of knowledge.

Both useful and annoying in multiplayer other keeps spamming it. And for single match bots keeps screaming any special infected even though I heard their growl or any noise they make. For me, I'm fine muting the voices of the special infected, and less annoying in multiplayer match.

Getting annoyed when someone is infinitely spamming with those lines «because it is funny», eh?
Will make a mod for this as well and will leave a link to it here once it is published.

Other than that, those lines are actually very useful, especially if you are playing on a server where the Special Infected are silent (and deadly). Shame, there are players who love to annoy the others once they get a convenient tool for doing that.

Can you also mute the special infected call-outs?
