Settlement buildings increase campaign movement range for their own army.

Thanks to a better road and supply system abstracted in the settlement level, each level for minor settlement gives +4% movement range to the armies of the faction controlling the settlement (up to +20% for settlement level 5).
For minor settlement bonus is +5% per level, so up to 15% at level 3.

Settlement with only one level such as Wood Elves give +10%


Bastions give 10% campaign movement penalty to enemy units for each level of the bastion.

Fortress gates and Empire forts give 8% campaign movement penalty to enemy units for each level.


Action cost to transition between land and sea (or sea and land) is lower, allowing to embark/disembark AND move a little


The AI will not retreat as often, the will do so when the relative strength is less favourable than they do for vanilla.


Compatibility: New effects, should be compatible with everything, except for changes to cai_variables table, the CAI_VARIABLE_RFB entries, if other mods change the same.

In French, "ennemi" takes two n... I shortened a bit the format, the full effect from CA is quite long.

Awesome mod! But you have a typo here:
Movement range: %+n% for ennemy units in this region
ennemy should be changed to enemy

Also, I believe the base game uses the following format:
Campaign movement range: %+n% for enemy armies starting their turn in this region
Campaign movement range: %+n% for own armies starting their turn in this region
