I thought you were talking about this pack more than about this old school gym. Yes, in older buildings this isn't necessarily perfect as you can see. Some of them already got a big update where I remade them from scratch. More recent buildings should always be fine with this regard.

That is not really true. As you can see on the link below the roof texture B is very small in comparison to its actual size while a door A for example has a very big size and the roof is always facing towards the player while the door is at the buildings side.
Also the walls use very uniform textures too C and they look very nice in game because of this.

Well, making the texture look totally uniform doesn't make the building prettier at all in my opinion. It makes it look as if the roof texture consisted of only one pixel. Currently, the roof texture doesn't have any worse quality than the rest of the building.

Thats what I mean. On the left is your standard texture.. on the right I darkened it a lot, so it looks higher quality.

I see what you mean. but to me the resolution of the roofs is too low so I prefer it darker so that I dont see the low resolution anymore :D.
Difficult to explain what I mean i think. Maybe I can upload an image so you know what I mean...

It shouldn't be black (what is light black? sounds like an oxymoron to me). Roofs are made of bitumen and should be about the same shade as roads because it's the same material. Also, those darker lines of tar between stripes of bitumen should be clearly visible.

But have you tried a darker roof? I have darkened the roof texture of some of your mods and the building then looks way better. The problem with your roof texture is that it is very low resolution and when you darken it a lot (to a light black) you cant see that anymore and it looks overall better in my opionion :)

Stupid me. Played for ca. 500 hours, downloaded a lot of mods and placed a ton of buildings. But for whatever reason never placed a building with skins so I couldn't ever see the button.

There's a button in the building menu after you finished construction. Looks exactly the same as for vehicles.
