[Deprecated] Leader Traits: Synthetic Leader Traits for Machine Units

Beskrivelse
DEPRECATED: Paradox has applied this change in 3.6 "Orion" alongside overall changes to ascension paths - if you have that version or higher, do not use this mod. It remains listed for players who choose to play the 3.4 "Cepheus" versions of Stellaris.

Overview
Does what Leader Traits: All Eligible Species Traits does for species-based leader traits, but for Machine Units - they gain the Synthetic leader traits. In order to qualify, the Machine Unit leader(s) must belong to a Machine Intelligence with the Synthetic Age ascension perk, to a non-gestalt empire with the Synthetic Personality Matrix technology, or an Ancient Machine Intelligence.

Requested by Marrow.

Changes
Adds new effects, events, and on_action hooks to ensure Machine Unit leaders gain the same special traits as Synthetic leaders.

Compatibility
All the mod's logic is implemented in standalone events and effects which should not conflict with other mods. Does not require Leader Traits: All Eligible Species Traits.

Built for Stellaris version 3.4 "Cepheus." Not compatible with achievements.

Recommended Companion Mods
Like leaders? Try a couple of my other leader-related mods that work with this one.
When to Install
This mod can be safely added or removed from your savegame after the game has started. It is implemented through custom events and effects without adding gameplay objects. If you remove it, your game will work normally.

I thought I had updated the description - I'll check when I'm at home for the evening.

@corsairmarks Thanks, makes sense to include it there.
I would suggest updating the description to reflect fully assimilating robots into a machine hive mind is also possible with it.

@Optera I ended up adding that feature to a different mod, where it seemed more thematically appropriate:

@Optera, I believe I could make a workaround to grant robot points as well when those technologies are researched. I'm taking a brief hiatus from modding, but I've added this to my idea list for when I'm back in the swing of things.

Thanks, this fixes one of my grievance with machine empires.
The other would be how normal empires robots don't seem to get trait points from machine trait techs. Is there a mod to fix that too?

Dang you work fast

Oh I can add that - I thought you were looking for them to always apply.

Neat! I took a quick look at the code and there doesn't seem to be anything in there about locking the traits behind the synthetic age ascension perk, which is really more what I meant...

It'd be cool to see AI assistants for machine empires too, but I totally get if that makes absolutely no sense.

Either way, good work.
