"The M739 Light Machine Gun (M739 LMG) is a squad automatic weapon (SAW) used by the UNSC Armed Forces. Designed and manufactured by Misriah Armory, the M739 is used in protracted engagements where sustained or suppressive fire is required. The weapon is fed ammunition by a 72-round belt in a drum magazine. SAWs increased in usage over the 22nd century during the first major colonial conflicts. In response, Misriah Armory began development of light machine guns that could serve in a SAW role. The M739 is the most recent addition to this, being introduced during the late years of the Insurrection, and continuing on into the Human-Covenant War. As of 2558, the UNSC continues to use the M739."

This mod replaces the CSS SG552 in L4D2 with the M739 LMG SAW from Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians. The model itself uses the textures from Halo 5: Guardians, As well as animations recreated by myself. This mod is tested and works for online play in Left 4 Dead 2.
Includes Inspection animations and Holster animations.
Includes Run and Walking animations that change based on player speed.
Includes Fidget animations that play at random when idle or walking.
Includes Halo:Reach style Muzzle particles.
Mod-a-Mod support for modders to easily create skin mods to apply to the base mod.

@Frigid★Empress no problem. just know all of my mods I made to have mod support to have easy texture/skin mod without needing to reupload the entire base weapon mod. saves you time, space, and in case I ever update my mod you don't have to be stuck with an old version.

all you need is image editing software like photoshop or gimp and vtfedit to import and save the textures as vtf files. there's lot of tutorials out there on how to use vtfedit and replace or make texture mods for source games/Left 4 Dead 2. hope this helps.

@The Chronodonut the conflict with the ultra particle mod is mostly just cause they both require the particles manifest. I tested it and it does work still so no need to worry. the Gravemind particles just add the particles and textures for said particles.

Ok so
Most of your mods which replace weapons with Halo weapons say they require the "gravemind particle manifest" mod, which, judging from the comments, conflicts with the "ultra particle" mod which I mainly make use of in my L4D2 playthroughs.
This leads me to wonder if it is entirely possible to use the mod without the particle manifest mod

why the SAW for the SG552? why not the BR?
