描述
Adds gold and iron rewards to most extant creatures. Some omissions are deliberate, but probably not all. The c5m file is commented thoroughly and quite readable for the curious.

As someone who has actually made some battle loot compatibility mods - assuming you don't have a ridiculous number of units it's super easy, I'll back oort object up 100% on that. Base game genuinely does have a ridiculous number of units, something like Elysium Remastered would be pretty brutal, but your typical class mod? Easy.

I'll also confirm that copying preserves the drops assuming the other mod has a lower modprio than this one.

im certain it does alter the tilt of the balance of power between the classes as played by ai, though i'll note that the baron and senator do tend to dominate on an equal difficulty (read: ai resource bonus) basis. i'm interested in hearing any specific insights you have to share, i prefer to make things less fucked where possible really

this makes certain ai classes incredibly hard to beat. I like the idea, but I also hate giving the AI any extra advantage since I'm relatively new to the game.

anyway seriously though, you can learn a hell of a lot by just opening up mod files and just seeing how the author has done this or that. huge part of how i got started

the way it works or at least is supposed to work is, it has a few lines of code for every kind of creature in the base game. it may or may not work as intended depending on which mods are in the mix.

it won't affect entirely scratch made units. it might affect those made with copy-commands, depending on mod execution priority, but this is not an intentional effect and the reward may be wildly off the mark.

(i need to get around to making a couple corner patches for my own mods wherever i've added new units, actually)

anyway its complicated and hard to predict! i mostly just worry about making sure all my creations work together

that said, creating mods for personal use can be relatively easy and low-effort, especially if one's just making tweaks and/or using the files from other mods as reference. feel free to crack any of mine open for that.

Some bug hunting, by line:
4155: "Chartmaker" should be "Cartographer"
4245: "Self-Proclaimed King" should be "Self Proclaimed King"
