I'll also confirm that copying preserves the drops assuming the other mod has a lower modprio than this one.
anyway seriously though, you can learn a hell of a lot by just opening up mod files and just seeing how the author has done this or that. huge part of how i got started
it won't affect entirely scratch made units. it might affect those made with copy-commands, depending on mod execution priority, but this is not an intentional effect and the reward may be wildly off the mark.
(i need to get around to making a couple corner patches for my own mods wherever i've added new units, actually)
anyway its complicated and hard to predict! i mostly just worry about making sure all my creations work together
that said, creating mods for personal use can be relatively easy and low-effort, especially if one's just making tweaks and/or using the files from other mods as reference. feel free to crack any of mine open for that.

is this mod compatible with other mods or does it only work with the base game?
