XH-42 Petrel

Descriere
The XH-42 Petrel is a long distance amphibious search and rescue vehicle, along with logistics and anti submarine warfare. This vehicle can float on water, and was made to be stored on the U-689 Leviathan. It functions just as a helicopter. That is, until you throttle up the forwards engines. Making it fly more like a plane than a helicopter. The stability mode works for both flight and helicopter modes as well, enjoy!

Note: When storing on the Leviathan. Make sure to manually fold both main rotors. The forward rotors may stay open. Also, I am working on a air dropped RC torpedo for anti sub warfare when the weapon DLC drops. It works well, but cleaning it up a bit, so expect that.

I actually don’t think I ever finished adding it, because weapons hadn’t come out at the time of me adding the vehicle. It was going to be a rc guided torpedo that was dropped out the back. I actually think I am going to come back to this build. I was not totally happy with how it flew, and I think I would like to make a few changes as well. I would like to switch the rc system with a sonar guided torpedo. While, also adding a sonar buoy. I originally wanted it to be a sub hunter, but it wound up being a supply and rescue craft.

I am having difficulties folding the bottom rotor for docking to the carrier

This does not, but the sub carrier, helicopter, and jet do require the dlc. However they can still be used. They will just me missing weapons.

I am currently working on missiles for the ferret. I have developed a air to ship missile, with limited air to air capability's so far, and a air dropped RC torpedo. :microraptor:
