[YXLL_T]Suspended Monorail

Omschrijving
In 1893, German Eugen Langen invented the suspended monorail transit, and built a 13.3km suspended monorail railway in Wuppertal, Ruhr district, Germany from 1898 to 1901. This is the earliest and oldest suspended monorail transit in the world.

At present, there are suspended monorail lines in operation in Wuppertal, Dortmund, Dusseldorf in Germany, Chiba in Japen and other places.

On July 20, 2017, the highest speed suspended monorail train in China went offline in CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. and entered the stage of type test and trial operation. Shanghai, Wuhan and other cities in China have also begun to plan some suspended monorail lines.

This mod contains：
  • 2 types of suspended monorail tracks；
  • A suspended monorail depot；
  • 2 types of suspended monorail stations；
  • 4 types 13 kinds of suspended monorail turnout (located in depot menu)；
  • A suspension monorail train (including 2 forms)；
  • 4 kinds of suspended monorail special signal；
  • 4 types of suspended monorail special bridges；
  • 4 types of suspended monorail pillar assets.

    The complete set of mods has been available since 1893.

    This mod is completely independent and does not require other pre mod support.

    Please open the file for testing before loading this mod in your important archives to ensure that it can be used normally.

I rally like this mod, i just modified it a bit to suite my needs. I use it for outcity small travels too, so i increased a bit the TopSpeed 100 KM/H, the loadspeed to 8 for big cities and i hope identified the right sounds. Sounds are there u just miss the /res/config/sound_set dir and lua file. But creating it in the main tree will not add the sound, That' s why i installed it in a complely different tree. Anyway THX for the MOD. As i don' t want to bother the Authors, just if they want to contact me,i will send what i did. Cheers!

Ah found it, it has no Category... maybe you should add the Signals, Skytrain_Signal, to a Category. The Other Signal I mentioned earlier was from another Monorail Mod i installed.

I lakc to find the Monorail Signals... its always showing just one, the Signal with the White Line. And this one only can be used on Ground Level. Where or what do i have to do, to find the other 3 Signals? I saw Videos with a normal Green and Red Signal?

That was a great design you have made for monorails. For this type, it reminded me of the Shonan Monorail in Kanagawa prefecture with the 5000 series rolling stock. Is that ok if you can make that?

感谢大佬的付出，这里有两点意见，并轨的时候会bug，就是上面的白色的消失了，然后下面多出一段白色的高速轨道来（悬空的） 然后能改一改空轨站，他像一只狗在那里趴着。。。

not sure why the comment section is having troubles, this mod works just fine, most of them just aren't looking at the options in the building menus. My only warning is that the grade is reasonably limited, so hilly cities can be quite tough to properly get tracks through, and may require you to space your stations farther apart than desired to match the grade. Your best bet in those situations is to lower the building height of your higher grade platforms, and raise them in the lower ones, all in the provided menu.

On Steam Deck, has anyone managed to switch train models? It says it should be (R) but it isn't.

Other than that, what I have learnt is that you are best starting with a flat no-town map (bumps and match sticks seems to confuse the height bit and you will obliterate any cities you try to put a mono rail on top of. Create the mono rail stuff, then add cities underneath it.

PS: I know it shouldn't be like that, but, well, see for yourself.
