Pantheon of the Gods Lite

Works fully with CK3 1.16!

This mod was made years ago, and first published on July 5, 2021, when the original modification was outdated, and, in my opinion, overbloated. As a consequence, I made this version, by removing most of the unnecessary additions, and only leaving what I deemed most important — deities, and the associated mechanics. It was then, but over the many years of development I implemented so many original things, and what was once a lite version of the mod turned out to have its own, unique vision. At this point, this version has only a few things left from the original, and is a full-fledged mod on its own. In spite of this, I have no intention of rebranding it, as I grew really attached to how it is already. It may not be exactly “lite” anymore, but its spirit never changed.

I also want to thank everyone who has been subscribed to the most for all this time. I know that the mod was frozen for an extended period of time, but I'll try my best to keep it up-to-date with the game updates from this point forward. But I cannot promise any major content updates, due to me already implementing all I wanted. Everything's possible, though, and I might add more stuff if I get a good idea for it!

🌟 Traits for Gods, Goddesses, Demigods, Heroes, Undyings and Disciples.

❓ How do I become a god?
❗ Use the character interaction on your character, then pick between a pure and a fallen god. Some of your character's personality traits may be replaced if they're contradicting the type of deity you've selected.

❓ How do I make other people gods?
❗ Once you have become a god and unlock a special perk in lifestyle (first in the last tree), you can then use a character interaction (right-clicking on char) to use Apotheosis.

❓ How compatible is the mod?
❗ This version of the mod does not change the original game files, aside from GUI, and therefore should not have any compatibility issues, but I can't guarantee that. There's a crash-causing issue that cannot be fixed on my part, which makes the mod incompatible with any other that adds new character interaction categories, due to the problem with indexes. If you're using this mod and some other, and the game is crashing whenever you're trying to interact with a character. You can manually fix it by going to both of the mods' common/character_interaction_categories folders, and making sure that the categories don't have the same index number. Also, make sure that there are no gaps in the numbers, meaning that if there are 20 categories in total, then the last index number must be 19 (the first index is always 0, not 1). A crash will occur otherwise, and that's also the reason I cannot fix this issue.

❓ The ducal building is getting out of my screen, what to do?
❗ Unfortunately, the large number of modifiers that the ducal building provides makes it break the interface a bit. But it can be easily fixed by changing GUI Scalling in the settings. Lowering it to just 90% should do the trick for most resolutions. Sorry for the trouble, but I really think it's worth having more modifiers!
