21 JUNE 2021 UPDATE

Tonight the roads were updated to fix a few issues and prep them for the addition of asymmetrical lanes to be released tomorrow. Changes/Fixes:

- fixed Pavement road to not have vehicles disappear when driving on it.
- added props for train crossings to Grass and Pavement roads.
- adjusted lane positioning to line-up with new asymmetrical roads.

This is my first major road release I've done (others have just been editing textures and props). If this breaks anything, I am sorry. I believe I've followed the right steps to ensure it doesn't. Any issues, message me on the Ryde Discord page or below. Hope you enjoy these!


Ryde City Infrastructure - Ryde BRT Road - 6 Lane 2 Way Pack

What is this?

A set of roads to help you make a dedicated BRT network in your city.

This is a modified version of Delta 5-1's Vanilla+ 8-Lane Avenue without Parking..

Some Notes

- see the images above for instructions/tips for using these roads.
- there may be a blue gap when connecting these roads in-line with other roads. Connecting at intersections should be just fine.
- use Beautify Our Builds (BOB) mod to replace road props to match your city. (I have replaced the vanilla traffic lights with North American ones in my screenshots).
- make sure road is flat before making the stops, otherwise they look a little wonky...
- shares textures.
- you'll need TM:PE to set the road to not allow certain vehicles and setup lane connections.
- The Ryde BRT Props and Ryde Bus Sign Prop are required for this asset to work.
- use Intersection Marking Tool to add whatever road lines you wish!

Why im i not able to place the bus stops on the bus lane part of the road?Any ideas on how i can solve this?

Hi! I'm no longer able to place bus stops on the bus lane segment of the road. Do you know the cause for this or if the network needs to be updated following the recent patches?

The texture bug occurs when there's no traffic lights (ie. when you use stop signs/give way with TM:PE). The walk-around is to add timed traffic lights with all green using TM:PE and setting traffic light priorities in the settings.

This asset has a serious texture bug.
Does it occur when I make junctions at the elevated BRT roads?

I have a problem with the elevated version for stops, which allows me to place the stop only on the "wrong" side of the island. Is there a fix for this?

@liringlas @小振晋 Had the same issue with you guys, solved by unsubscribing the SharedStopEnabler mod. Not sure if you sub'ed to the mod, but at least unsub'ing it did it for me. Hope this helps

Yes I do use Advanced stop selection.
Another odd behaviour is another bus road from workshop, this one has bus lanes on outside. On this one I can only place stops on one side.

No worry though, I do not ask for support as I use hundreds of mods as well. I know your assets are good so thank you anyway!

@liringlas that's really odd. I hadn't used these in a while and am now using them in a new city I'm working on. They work just fine. Yeah, it could be a mod conflict, but which one I would have no idea. Do you use the Advanced Stop Selection mod?

Both this and Elvis BRT don't work for me. Might be airport, might be the hundred more mods I have (though it used to work 6 months ago with as many mods).

The station segment gives me the possibility to click on the center line correctly when creating a line, but it actually creates the stop on the outside and won't let me place further stop in the middle.

No worry though I will find another way :)
