This mod is a collection of Crye Precision AVS plate carriers

Current Vests:
  • AVS Assaulter - x4 Front Pouch Variants (MC)(MCB)(MCT)(RG)(TAN)(AOR1)
  • AVS Gunner - LMG Pouches (MC)(MCB)(MCT)(RG)(TAN)(AOR1)
  • AVS Comms - x4 Front Pouch Variants (MC)(MCB)(MCT)(RG)(TAN)(AOR1)


This mod is still a Work In Progress***

***Updates from now will be very limited and infrequent if at all***

We have no issue with people packing this into unit/personal modpacks. We have no issue with people making iterations on the mod or the content within. Create your own setups, add custom patches and/or use some of the content in your own mod. The only rules we have is that the content stays within Arma, it is not used commercially and/or that none of the content is used for profit.

Hi..i want to ask permission, after i read the description it says no have issues for people to pack it as long follow the rule, so what im asking is, can i repack this to my mod? i will not change the author and also put a full credit not going for profit/or anything, if it not allowed its okkay no problem, great mod btw cheers :steamhappy:

Thompson... that's not how lvl IIIA or IV ballistic armor works. Who ever told you it could be shot indefinitely is highly misinformed. Depending on the type of round (i.e. M855A1 Enhanced Penetration Round, that was literally designed to defeat "some" body armors.) penetration is not only possible but highly likely. Not to mention after enough shots can be placed to cause substantial deformation of the armor (Which likely would be 2 - 6 rounds, again depending on type), 556 will most certainly penetrate. This is not Call of duty, this is a military simulator. This man has made an amazing product, just be happy he even put the time to make it as detailed as it is. Plus even if a round doesn't penetrate, deformation may still kill you.

I play with ACE and love this mod

but the armor value has to be raised so that if you shoot at it with 7.62 or 300 BA you only have a large bruise

then this mod would be absolutely perfect

At the moment you get a ballistic trauma even with a 556, and that's completely unrealistic because with a 556 you could shoot at it almost indefinitely before you get through

That would even be worth a donation for me ;)
