Customize Populations (Nav Files)

Описание
Now you can individually modify the infected populations of every single map!

You will need to use "Population.txt Templates", found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2498962483

Instructions: (!!!)
1. Download both workshop addons by subscribing to them and launching l4d2 once
2. Use GCFScape to open the "Population.txt Template" vpk found in /steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop (it will be called "2498962483")
3. Extract the contents to your "addons" folder, and place them in a new folder called "custom-population-scripts" (or name the folder whatever you want)
4. Inside "custom-population-scripts" make sure you have the "scripts" folder, as well as the "addoninfo.txt" file
5. You can modify the populations inside the population.txt files to whatever you want, using any text-editor.
6. You will need to turn your "custom-population-scripts" folder into a vpk -- you can do this by going to /steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/bin and finding "vpk.exe". Drag your folder over vpk.exe and it will create a vpk of your folder -- make sure the vpk is in your addons folder.
7. Unsubscribe from "Population.txt Templates" so that it will not conflict with the new mod you have created.



Note: These mods will not be compatible with any addons that modify nav files or population files, including my previous workshop addons. These addons will work in singleplayer and when you host a local server.

If you do not want to download my population.txt templates, then you will have to modify your population.txt files yourself -- which will be a lot of work that I have already done for you.

I think the translation was weird. What I want to do is have firefighter zombies spawn instead of riot zombies on the 'hotel' map in the Death Center campaign. But I don't know how to set this up. Even if I erase the text written in the code and fill it in with another text, it doesn't work. I'm wondering if there is another way.

The thing is, I want firefighters to spawn in the Hotel 1 map, but the population mode I like is set to spawn police officers wearing body armor but no firefighters.

Here, I deleted riot, modified it to firefighter, and also wrote the number 5, but it did not apply. I'd like to learn how to do this from you.

Hello, would this work if I want to put infected for hotels, others for the street without mixing?

In other words, in the hotel vahanna police riot from l4d2 while in the street riot from l4d1 and workers without appearing in the hotel vahanna

is it possible with this mod?

Ik you don't work on this anymore but is there a slight chance you could make a Random Object Spawner compat version? That mod and this both use nav's meaning you cant combine those mods which SUCKS....

@Button丶 I'm not sure if I'm going to keep updating this, however, Mysterious Pootis has a mod called "Corrected Nav" which I think adds those locations.
