Features

- Textures of raindrops for windows and windshield have been changed, tries to appear colder and icy raindrops
- Increased amount of raindrops from inside the cabin (You can use the add-ons to increase amount)
- Better textures of the 'exterior rain', better transparency and shorter "lines"
- Better effects and behaviors of the drops on the windshield and windows, blurred, icy, and clammy vision
- Improved textures & effect for particles/spray of the wheels when the asphalt is wet (Truck player and AI Traffic)
- Dynamic exterior and interior rain sounds. Samples sounds, effects and transitions according to the intensity of the rain.
- High quality thunder sounds, Around 20 variety sounds, delay included between 1-5 seconds, simulating IRL.

Note: The amount of raindrops on the windows will vary depending on the intensity and direction of the rain (controlled by the game or by a Weather mod)

- Compatible with Default Weather (SCS) and Weather mod by Juninho944

- Must have high priority in Mod Manager. 'Cold Rain' on top (ABOVE) of Weathers/Graphics, Maps and Sound mods.

Note*: You should know that Autumn Seasons By Grimes disables thunders, Please note this if you use this mod, the lack of these aspects is not from 'Cold Rain' mod.

Use the add-on if you want increase the number of raindrops on glass:

Questions

- Can this mod be used together with 'Realistic Rain'? Nope, both mods are similar and modify the same parts of the game, only the one with higher priority will work, so use only one!
- What differences does this mod have with respect to Realistic Rain mod? Both are very similar, the only difference is the textures of the raindrops that you can see on the glass (windshield, windows etc...) and slightly changes the behavior of raindrops on the glass. 'Realistic Rain' has some more "standard" raindrops, while Cold Rain tries to appear colder and icy raindrops, choose the one you like the most, the rest of the things are similar.

Problems and solutions

The mod appears as updated to the latest version but I am not receiving the download:
- You can force the download by doing 'Unsub + Sub' again, you will receive the download immediately.

I don't hear rain sounds from this mod:
- 1. Make sure you have this Mod with the highest possible priority within the mod manager (above other mods for sounds, graphics, weathers etc...)
- 2. Sometimes there is a problem with the game and FMOD, if you have recently removed or added a Sound Mod from the mod manager, I recommend that you close the game completely and start the game again . This will clear the memory/cache of the game and all sound mods will load correctly, repeat this solution every time you add/remove a sound mod to avoid problems.
