- Playable characters are located in the area around the southern Urals replacing some rulers there in 867 and in 1066

- 35 face paints and 18 body paints
- A yearly event assigns randomly selected Face and Body paint to adult male characters of this culture if they currently have none
- Can select Face and Body paints directly using the 'Customize' character interaction on any adult male of this culture

- Over a dozen hairstyles + a few hairstyle addons in the Barbershop
- 4 more hairstyles if you own the Northern Lords DLC

- A new religion
- Some new UI textures
- Over a dozen earrings for men and women, nose and brow piercing models and combinations for adult males of standing

- Armor, Headbands, Bracers, Axes, Belts, Pelts, Necklaces and Quivers are worn by some males and can be found in the Barbershop too
- Can recruit Horse Archers, with unit pictures for other MAA they use as well

- You can use the 'Customize' character interaction by clicking on your own or any other male character of this culture or religion to toggle things such as wearing full clothing or going topless showing the body paint better, and selecting character pose and background picture
- Other things are also in the Barbershop
