GeTA Sulfur - Tanker

The GeTA Sulfur railway (Geo-thermal Tranz Alpine) is primarily used for freight, connecting the various sulfur mines of the Darby County alps. These tankers are used for transporting liquid sulfur.

Sulfur is transferred in both it's raw ore form, as well as refined liquid stored in tanks.
These wagons are mainly filled at the Hotrocks mine, which has the necessary machinery to convert raw sulfur into liquid sulfur for transport.

Once transported down from the Hotrocks mine, these wagons are stored in the Oatery yard before being sorted into long-haul freight trains to leave the county for export.
