Welcome to ♥♥♥♥ Optimization 2

Don't you just hate those crunchy lookin' corpses that look like ♥♥♥♥? Well, now they're better than ever.
This improves the old corpse bodies with the retail CI models.

This is compatibale with retextures for the default CI but mods such as the L4D1 Common Infected Overhaul will only affect the heads.

yeah the half corpses are really buggy, it's like a 50/50 it'll look normal or look like a red mush.

when I use corrected common infected or other similar mods the cut in half corpse guts texture turns into a strange texture which I can only describe as teeth?

tbh I like the look of the normal corpses more, they look more human and they got unique clothes. But not bad

Good mod just one question for the military body last picture is there a version that can maybe have a gas mask like on him like in this mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3022899921 if not that's fine still a great mod

Is there a mod that restored the old l4d1 corpse piles for all the campaigns that don't have them? Like Dead Air and Crash Course and Blood Harvest etc

Whatever problem you were having does not involve this mod
