Beskrivning
About:
This mod is a remake of Project ARK where instead of kitbashing ships through code, we go the extra mile and make actual models using vanilla models. This mod aims to introduce new shipsets that use vanilla assets. This mod basically is a idea dump for shipset ideas.

Features:
- All new shipsets made with vanilla assets.
- Shipset accounting for each sections of a ship class instead of 1 model per ship class.

Currently Available Shipsets:
- Terrahuman - A Mammalian based shipset that takes design notes from generic sci-fi ship designs and naval ship designs.
- Biomass - A shipset based on the Prethoryn Scourge ship designs. This takes on a more monstrous look for shipsets for empires preferring biological ship designs or Tyranid like designs for their empire. This also has its own megastructures for the vanilla/dlc(s) however the animations were all stripped from the base model and swapped with more basic animations due to limitations.
- Salvager - A shipset crafted with many different shipset designs. This shipset focuses less on being pirates or mainstream shipdesigns and leans more on making do with what we find and have. Rough textures are applied to some models and ships that look cobbled together are really common. (REQUIRES HUMANOID DLC - This shipset uses parts from the Humanoid Shipset)

Currently Planned Shipsets and Changes:
- Biomass and Salvager Crisis/Menace Ship models
- Empira - This one was under light development before I decided to switch to actual models as it was easier and more flexible to changes. This style focuses on Reptilian shipset with a more grand or militaristic design scheme.

Natively Supported Mods:
- Icen System Scale and Beauty
- Project Strike (Archived - Currently no developments)

F.A.Q
Q: Is NSC supported?:
A: No. Unfortunately I gave up supporting NSC as it has too many ship class to support and the mod keeps changing and adding more over time which would be hard to keep supporting for this mod on top of my other mods and projects.

Q: Do you support any mods that add a new shipclass?
A: For now I partially support ACG mod as I personally use the mod and it does not add or change much in terms of ship classes. You will need the downscaled version of this mod to run with ACG due to the scaling.

Q: Can you alter a ship looks?
A: Depending on the suggestion I may take it to account as this mod is a idea dump so new ideas are welcome but not guaranteed to be made or fulfilled.

Q: Why is XYZ DLC required?
A: This is because a shipset may require the DLC as it burrows models from that DLC. I highly recommend you get the DLCs containing all shipsets from Paradox in order to properly run this mod.

Q: Can I suggest a shipset?
A: Of course! I don't guarantee it being made but I may try make it if I felt like it

Q: Whats taking so long for the update?
A: I've been working on my personal mods and life recently so unfortunately I chose to sacrifice some of the development time I had for this mod to those endeavors. No worries as I will still maintain this mod as long as I can and update it once in a blue moon.

Someone should really fork this and make them updated to the new bioship system, it's a good fit for them.

After 4.0 update all shipsets in this mod are seen by the game as bio-ships. For anyone wanting to use them as mechanical ships do the steps bellow.
1) go to the mod files - open paradox launcher, find the mod, click on "show in folder"; or manually find the mod in steam workshop folder.
2) go: common > graphical culture
3) open 56_graphical_culture
4) add after shipset name:
ship_kinds = {
default_ship
space_amoeba
tiyanki
voidworm
cutholoid
crystalline_entity
}
5) repeat step 4 for all shipset you DON'T want as bio-ships.

Example how it should look:
terrahuman_01 = {
ship_kinds = {
default_ship
space_amoeba
tiyanki
voidworm
cutholoid
crystalline_entity
}
fallback = mammalian_01

Same treatment should work with other shipset mods that haven't been updated after 4.0. Remember you need to do it every time this mod gets downloaded/redownloaded.

Well yeah, because 4.0 added not just a new shipset but an entirely new ship class (Bio-Ships) so they had to rewrite the way shipsets were handled. This broke all existing shipset mods and require them to be updated. This one hasn't been updated in over 3 yerars due to the author losing the files. So of course, it doesn't work.

Having issues with this, playing 4.0.x, the salvager and biomass sets at least (I didn't check the terrahuman one) fail to load any of the ships smaller than titan in the ship designer. This may be the case for the other designs as well.

Can nsc have permission to incorporate this mod into nsc? It is fine if not. I am just trying to see if I can permission for someone else who suggested for your mod to be implemented into nsc.

Agreed. This was the best bio-organic ships avaliable. There are others, but the are not as good as this one was.

That is the most unique take on a flesh shipset I had ever seen, and the Salvager shipset is no joke either!

i dont get how this cant be revived. I can still download this, why can't anyone unpack it and update it?
