Custom Actions

Description
This modding utility enables the import of custom code for actions from the mods. If you subscribe to some mod, which lists it as a requirement, you need to subscribe to this utility and enable it in the launcher. Loading order in the launcher does not matter.

Disclaimer: no direct support is given for this utility, please resolve potential issues through the mod which uses the Custom Actions.

Compatibility:
► 2022.1 No new career is needed and full savegame compatibility is given for this utility.
► When you unsubscribe from the Custom Actions or disable it in the launcher, the functionality of mods that utilize it will be affected.
► No compatibility problems with other mods have been found so far.

Device Energy Consumption by Alligator
Start/Stop Alarm Button by Alligator

Device Energy Management by Alligator
Functional RDF antenna by ii

If you would like to integrate new actions into your mods, you can refer to code of the mods linked above and get in contact with me if there is something not clear.

I recommend subscribing to the discussion thread below to be notified in case of updates, as the game launcher sometimes do not notice new update. In case you do not have the latest version, just unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the mod, restart the launcher and enable the mod in the launcher again.

It's looking like this mod will not be updated for 2024.1.
Not because it isn't required, but because changes in the game require that it now be integrated into mods using it, not as a separate mod

all good mods are oout of date and didnt work anymore. and the main game is dead too. its a shame.

Hello, well this mod only enables the other mods to bring in the actions into the game. Action is generally something that appears in the wheel menu when you right click some equipment for example. For example like tun on the pump, or repair something, etc On its own it is not really changing any game behavior. If you however disable it and see that something is the working, it can be simply that other mod which actions are causing interference are not present in the game since they were not imported at game startup when Custom actions mod is disabled. Are you using some mod changing something with the radio? That is probably where to look.

Might be wrong, but I am having issues and I believe this could be the mod causing it. With my radio stations specifically after I dive and come back up they no longer work, they do not show up in the list despite it saying that they are still available. They work perfectly fine prior to diving, though after surfacing that's where the issue starts. Apologies in advance if this isn't the mod causing it.

Mod version has been updated for 2022.1 Support for global debug mode toggle was added to the activator at the toolbox in the aft torpedo room. This will be used in the Sinking Physics overhaul mod to toggle the debug information.
