Description
What this mod does:

This mod adds cosmetic variants of the Faction Hero gear plus various kitbash/re-textures of Vanilla/WOTC/Other modded assets to create a unified 'Hero Suit' suite for X-Com Soldiers, which covers all Vanilla Armour Types for both Males and Females.

This mod includes:
  • Torsos for all Vanilla Armours (Kevlar/Predator/Warden/EXO/WAR/Spider/Wraith). Also 'Augmented' Torsos for each.
  • Tactical Arms for both arms, including 'Augmented' Arms for each.
  • Tactical Legs, including L/R/Both types of 'Augmented' Legs.
  • Shoulder & Forearm, Decos for Both arms for All tiers.
  • Thigh Decos (with and without Hips) for All Tiers
  • Shin Decos (including single leg versions) for All Tiers
  • Combat Belt TorsoDecos built from Veehementia's 'Pistol Friendly Skirmisher Decos'.
  • EXO and WAR suit TorsoDecos for those armours for use with our or any Torso/Arms/Legs combinations. - Built from Veehentia's 'Exoskeletons for TLP Armours'.
  • Spider and Wraith LeftForeArm Decos for those armours, built from the grapple part of the Skirmisher's Ripjack_MG/BM.

All 'Augmented Parts have 'Emissive Flow' lighting, which means the Blue lighted parts Move, here is a very brief Modular X-Com Hero Suits Augment Preview

Updates:
  • Updateds the Emissive map for the legs to be less over the top and sleeker, added Secondary Tint Emissive variations of Augmented Arms & Legs

@MrCloista Yes since I was reading a bunch of comments I was like might as well post it here in case some people wanna try it for themselves.

Sorry if it was a bit too much.

Also, and I feel I should mention it, thanks for the cool mods man. Keep up the good work :) :cozybethesda:

I will be updating the mod with the various decos in different slots at some point soon.
Olagarro 27 Jul @ 9:17pm
PS : I use Project Dollhouse and it works fine. Used to do it with UCR as well.
It also works with headgear if you want to mix and match cap and glasses.
I tried to get torsoDecos as lower and Upper props but it does'nt work most of the time.

Incase you wanna try, the codes are : PartType="Helmets" , PartType="FacePropsUpper" and PartType="FacePropsLower" for the headgears.

For the torsos = TorsoDeco
Shins and Thighs for the shins and thighs.
LeftArmDeco and RightArmDeco for the shoulders.
LeftForearm and RightForearm for the forearms.

The idea is that when you get the hang of it, it works for pretty much every mods, since all you do is making a copy of one of the object in another slot

For those that want to get the belt + EXO as other slots, here is how I usually proceed.

Inside the AML Select the mod and right click it.
Select Show in Explorer -> Config -> XcomContent.ini
Inside the ini go look for "TorsoDecos"

Exemple of one of the decos inside this mod :
+BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="TorsoDeco", DLCName="XCOM_Hero_Suits", TemplateName="FHUTorsoDeco_A_M", ArchetypeName="FHUDecos.Archetypes.DecoA_M", Gender=eGender_Male, bVeteran=false, bAnyArmor=true, CharacterTemplate="Soldier")

Copy paste each lines if you want all the options the mod offer. You can put them at the end of the ini if you want or just under the TorsoDecos it doesnt really matter.
All you need to do to get the options in-game as other slots is to simply change :
(PartType=" TorsoDeco ", with (PartType=" Shins ", or (PartType=" Thighs "

Do that for both Males and Females character, don't forget to save and launch the game after the changes to see if it worked.

@The UN sorry it took a while to reply. I'm planning an update to this mod that will include that functionality, though I don't have an ETA for it yet.
RustyDios  [author] 29 Jun @ 5:27am
I think they're after more vanilla/appearance manger "tier progress"
... in which case either re-read UCR's options explanation again.. or simply drop UCR and use appearance manager
MrCloista  [author] 29 Jun @ 5:12am
Try using UC Redux, Rusty fixed a few issues with base UC.

Anybody know what mod allows some armor options to progress through unlocks? I have unrestricted customization and even enabling the option to do so isn't working.
The UN 30 Nov, 2024 @ 1:22am
@MrCloista I'd actually really appreciate it if it's possible to have somethings like the Hero Combat Belt C,and such in the forearm or shoulders areas, so they can be used alongside other torso gears, it's great for kitbashing, I have tried to fix it myself, to little avail, I have in fact been trying for a long while.
MrCloista  [author] 14 Jul, 2024 @ 3:33am
@Daedalus that's because a lot of cosmetics assume use of Unrestricted Customisation. Personally I use Appearance Manager so all my mods are set up for each armour not a 1 and done. If you check my workshop there is the meme cosmetics unlocks which does this for a number of other mods too.
