Description
Disables birds, crickets, owls, rain, etc., but leaves wind and coastal ocean sounds, unlike the "enableEnvironment [false, false]" command which also disables wind sounds.

For use with winter maps that don't (re-)define terrain EnvSounds and leave summer sounds (ie. Winter 2035).
Or on summer maps if you want to play in peace without crickets. :)

This mod works globally (on all maps), if you want to override only one map, clearing its "CfgWorlds >> map_name >> EnvSounds" (or setting "volume" in the subclasses) should do the trick. Please don't ask me to make a mod specifically for your map.

This mod also disables ambient animals (via "enableEnvironment") so you don't forget - if you really want them, simply call "enableEnvironment [true,true]" during the game.

PS: (The recorded video is without any snow storm mods, but with rain set to 100%, which causes snowfall on some snow maps, but often at the cost of heavy rainfall sound. Hence, this mod also removes rain sounds.)

still hear rain pattering sounds on eden placed vehicles and buildings... wonder how i can disable that

How can i enable this mod in an Anizay single player scenario? i don't wanna hear anymore those birds...

Thumps up. Love this mod for the Winter 2035 maps.
