[23PzD] Kuban-Bridgehead, 1943

The 23rd Panzer Division presents Project Kuban, a 5km terrain loosely based off the real life location around the town of Svetlyy' Put. Svetlyy' Put is a small town that was fought over and around during the defence and evacuation of the Kuban Bridgehead in 1943. This project aims to recreate the area around the town to the best of my ability using references from present day satellite images, real life situational maps from the Kuban Campaign and my own creativity to make it suitable for ArmA 3.



During our Kuban Campaign, we portrayed 3. Kompanie from 1. Battalion, Grenadier-Regiment.208, who fought over and around Svetlyy' Put during the summer of 1943. To the East of the front lies the village of "Warenikovskaja" and around it, is the area that this terrain is based off.



With this being my first A3 Terrain, it has been extremely time consuming. Although there is nothing big planned for this terrain in the future, any bugs will be fixed and small changes may find their way into an update if I can find the time.


-Small amount of floating timber debris from bridge over trenches at Widerstandsnest "Gotha".
-Trenches at the Partizan Camp North of Varenikovskaya had their previous floors removed and are now too deep.
