Carrier Landing - Arrestor Cable and Tailhook

Описание
Cables to slow planes. Designed for aircraft carriers.

Cable Setup

- Place down an "Arrestor Endpoint" block on your flight deck. Place another, some distance away. These two blocks will form the cable

- In the Custom Data of each Arrestor Endpoint, put the same text. For example "cable" or "deck landing" etc

- If the setup is correct, you should now see a cable between the two arrestor endpoints. You can remove the cable by removing the blocks or changing the custom data

- You can have as many cables as you like, but each Arrestor Endpoint pair must have a unique tag in the Custom Data

- Cables can be placed on subgrids


Tailhook Setup

- The tailhook is currently using the 1x1x1 wheel model. Place it somewhere on the bottom of your aircraft

- If you are moving faster than 10m/s, and are close to a cable, the tailhook will attach and slow you down

- The tailhook automatically detaches when you come to a stop, or the cable has extended more than 80m

Especially for rigging, it would be nice to attach more than one cable to a end point. Maybe divided by a comma in the data. (Like "a, b, c" and it connects to those 3 end points)

We use Randa's Thin Wings, which includes a version of this cable with their tail hook. I was wondering if it would be possible to add the on/off setting to the hook such that if it is turned off, the hook will not grab the rope but if it is turned on it will. The reason is that currently the hook catches on both takeoff and landing and it would be nice to use the same runway, by disabling the hook for takeoff.

Thanks for letting me know, but this mod doesn't use storage as far as I'm aware
