The predecessor of NX70 is NX17B. The development goal of NX17B is to be able to load six 10-ton containers. Therefore, the length of NX70 is too long and it has poor adaptability to various facilities. Therefore, CRRC Erqi subsequently developed the NX70A universal flat car with the correct length.X70 is a transport vehicle dedicated to container transportation.
Different from gantry cranes in seaports, gantry cranes in China's large dry ports generally have the ability to lift 40T cargo, and it is difficult to operate double-deck container trains in most areas of China's railways. Therefore, large-load super-high containers are more favored by China.
