Alternative Running

Description
Alternative Running - is a mod that will allow you to sprint in alternative way by pressing Double Shift. (Similar to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019)

If you do not know how to use it, please watch the video.

Version: 4.0
Animation and code was maded from scratch by me.

You can customize your keybinds and different client settings. (Please look at first two screenshots)

YOU CAN DISABLE THE ANIMATION BY PRESSING THE SAME KEY YOU BOUND YOUR ALTERNATIVE RUNNING, OR BY PRESSING YOUR MOVEMENT/PRONE/CROUCH KEYS.
All of the settings client-sided, that means that if you dont like alternative MG run animation, you can disable that, but other players will still use it.


Read this before usage:
  • With alternative running you will run faster, but it will cost more stamina (Compatibly with ACE3 stamina!)
  • About 7 different run animation for different weapon types
  • You cant use alternative running if you are out of stamina, or if your legs are damaged.
  • You can use alternative running even in water and special animation will be played.

I found out that this mod kinda cheats grenade throwing since I can throw grenades without any cooldown - can have like 40 grenades and throw them all in like 5 seconds. Otherwise it's a very nice mod and I like the animations and settings.

Also, I want to ask, is there perhaps a way to at least temporarily fix the problem? Perhaps I can reinitialize the scripts by calling a certain function through the debug console? Thanks again c:

Webknight, I found an issue but I don't know if this is due to the abundance of my mod or I found a bug in your mod. So, whenever I use the alternate running (AltR) in a campaign/scenario singleplayer mission, it works okay at first. But, after saving and reloading my save, I become unable to stop unless I press my AltR key or I take out my melee weapon from your other mod. I tried pressing all the movement keys (WASD, crouch, and prone), but only the two I mentioned works. It is a minor inconvenience for me since I usually stop by pressing 'S', but at least I can still stop. Looking forward for a feedback.

Lastly, I just wanna say thank you for the mod. It certainly elevates my experience playing this game!

Ooooh, It was in the base game keybinds. I have never seen a mod do that before. That's why I was confused.
