Since this game has come out I've been asked over and over again to make the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, well I finall..... whoops, I well..... You get what you get.

So here we are. I see you asking yourself, "What the hell is Merkur? Did you mess up spelling Mercury? Why did you put that stupid badge on a Sierra, and why isn't it called a Sierra?" Well first of all, Merkur is a very very short lived brand created by The Ford Motor Company as a way to market German made Fords in North America. Second for why the name of the car itself resembles that of a fax machine more than it's sister car, well that's easy: GMC.

But either way here we are, a LHD, freedom unit, non-intercooled more or less SVO mustang. It made no power, was not fast, and by no means was a great car. What is it really? Americans' easiest and cheapest way to build an RS500.

Now on to the mod itself. This mod has been sitting unfinished on my computer for many months, I had really wanted to do an RS500 but because everyone asked for it I couldn't actually do it (I'm not that nice, however I am nice enough to include the parts, so you can make your own). So in pops the idea to do this. A lot more of hard work and effort has gone into this forgotten car than is first recognizable when first looking at it, but trust me, a lot of time and effort has been put into making this car that maybe 3 people besides myself actually care about. Also, I cannot in a million years express how thankful I am for Gollywog's help. Without him, this would have stayed on my computer unfinished for the rest of time.

"Why doesn't it have a turbo?" Well the in game turbo 4 won't look right in game, however it is swappable for your turbo pleasure, it does however make the right amount of power in it's non-turbo form.
