Also thank you very much for indicating tracks with custom gravel. I think I already check em all and I couldn't gather a full set including 2Lanes 1Way, and 1Lane tracks.
I see that TM2 is a great mod to have but sadly it doesn't work for everyone and that vanilla ballast can forever remain very much ugly for poor dudes like me...
Finally thanks so much for the huge work, incredibly enjoyable besides my issue.
- Massongex
- Goltschal
These use custom gravel as far as I remember.
I'd try to fix Theme Mixer 2, it's a viable alternative. Im not sure what the problem is with the mod, perhaps ask in Facebook group, or under the TM2 mod. Future RWY2 networks have all theme ballast unfortunately, it's much more versatile
Spent hours trying to make Theme Mixer 2 work in my city but it's just impossible. It's the only solution to make ballast look like ballast in my city (temperate theme). I had hope that a whole network with custom gravel texture would be available but I guess it's not the case. I'm near to quit and start a new city with a correct theme just because of this... Maybe do you have an other solution than Theme Mixer 2? Or maybe there's a pack of tracks with custom ballast textures coming? Anyway, thank's for your attention and regards.
- correct, sleepers are intentionally darker than original release of RWY1.
- also correct, gravel texture is not theme dependant but custom texture which doesnt change with theme.
As a side note, I am currently wrapping up the work on a sequel project for RWY, you can check the announcement on twitter:

- the sleepers look different (a bit darker) than in the "normal" railway replacer. Actually, all bridge networks have darker sleepers (both wood and concrete) than the "normal" ones.
- the gravel texture also looks slightly different than in the alternative ballast themes by REV0.
Am I missing something or is this the correct display?
