Welcome to Additional Machine Portraits - Dark Core!

I’m new to modding. And, like any new modder, I am throwing things at the wall until they stick. So you may experience some hiccups and everything may not work 100% as expected. The portraits are slightly low resolution as well. I’m not good enough to make it look great.

Update 3.2.2:
Added Necroid and Aquatic Portraits

That said, here’s what the mod does:
Adds additional machine portraits under a new species class: AMPD
Portraits are animated (sometimes in a strange way because I haven’t learned to create meshes yet)

@Zerox Yeah for sure. You can find the modders discord space by searching Stellaris Modders Den on google or something. Theres a lot of helpful people there that helped me get this off the ground in the first place. If you do end up taking a serious crack at it, you have my permission to upload any of the stuff I made, I would just ask that you credit me for the original. Feel free to DM me as well if you need any of the raw files. I still have them.

Hey fans. I am unable to come back to the modding scene for now, but I give anyone permission to take over this mod and bring it back to life. Perhaps you have some other favorite portrait modders you might be able to convince to revive this on my behalf :D

for some reason the category that should have these portraits doesnt show up, would love that fixed, I cant find anything else that replaces machine age portraits

I understand what you're talking about now.
1. If you don't like it you can just learn to mod for yourself.
2. My mod DOES add them to the buildable pops pool for all empires. There's a 50% chance of an empire using my mod or the vanilla pops when they research robotics.

No, I mean, why can't most Robot portrait modders just add the portraits to the Robot portrait pool? Almost every such mod that has ever been made insists on making them their own race, or only selectable by players at race creation, or as part of some massive overhaul mod that is incompatible with almost every other mod in existence. How hard is it to just make them Robot portraits? Robot portrait mods are cursed. Cursed I say. I resent the suffering that Robot Portrait modders insist on inflicting on the rest of the playerbase.
