Designed during the 30's as a new concept of machine gun,the General Purpose Machine Gun,the MG34 was the main machine gun of the German army through WW2 until the MG42 was implemented,and even then production and distribution did not stop.It was a very high quality weapon.
It was also in some quantities by other Axis nations,and some of the captured guns managed to get to China to take part in the Sino-Japanese war.

it says 60 damage but it kills in 3 shots and topples enemies in 2, same for the Mg42

The bullets have a particle that creates a ricochet effect. Originally i wanted it to be random, but i didn't find out how so all bullets do it. You may be confusing the ricochets (do no damage) with the "real" bullets.

was using this gun and had something odd happen. the bullets seem to be firing from a low position and so firing over a wall can sometimes be a problem. had some other issues where i blast enemies at melee range and they didnt take a single hit. idk what happened there they were just walking shoot at my blue allies and i was blasting them, even until the gun almost over heated, and they didnt take any damage. very strange and inconsistent gun at close quarters.

otherwise i like this gun. cool reload, cool overheat animation, excellent fluid recoil, and good sfx.
