描述
No-Hive, come over and sit with me. Smell that No-Hive? it is delicious cooked fish No-Hive. Why do you make that face No-Hive? Your faces are so strange but you must be enjoying the scent.

Would you like to try some of my food No-Hive? Made from the freshest fish and best ingredients. Why are you regurgitating No-Hive? Are you trying to build something? Ah, I understand, you are making room for my delicious fish. I will be generous and offer the first bite free.

No-Hive, are you feeling unwell? Your skin has the same color as a fogman. No-Hive don't flee. You haven't even tried the delicious dish I cooked up! I'm thinking of calling it Dronefisk! Come Back!

*sigh* Another No-Hive flees this village. Why would No-Hive come all the way to this fishing village if it wasn't interested in fish? No-Hives are so strange.

Queen would have loved Hesh's fish cooking. Queen would not even try them. Said Hesh liked fish too much and was not being productive. Ah well, I'm sure some No-Hive will come along that love's Hesh's fish cooking.

In order to make the spicy fish custard you may need to import.

For those wondering Hesh is in the fishing villages in the Outlands and Northern Coast. If you don't find him it may be due to the fishing villages being heavily modded (eg. Genesis).

@Anrhaa Perfect! I added a link to your patch and a thank you in the description. I know I'm a bad modder for not using the changelog. As I said, I'm lazy. I would never make it as a true script kiddie if I tried to do it professionally. It is what it is.

If you make a compatibility version of this mod I will also link it in the description.

Btw I did a patch to make both Hesh's Hive Cooking and Shek Desert Grub work with Better Storage System

@Sembo. How I was supposed to know you discussed that at Discord and Reddit?

You're right about the Militia squad. Somehow, even now FCS still tells me there's a squad named 'militia' erased by this mod. Even when loading this mod only.

@Anrhaa The discussion about changes was on the modding Discord and Reddit. I didn't use the changelog because I'm lazy.

Hesh already has the AI package to stay at the bar. The militia is NOT in the base game. I added them. There should not be any mod that uses them as they are specific to my mod. If a mod adds militia, it will be in addition to the militia I added.

The only faction change is "coexistence" with UC and the Slavers. That does NOT make them allies, it just prevents attack unless attacked or dialogue forces an attack. City overrides and faction wars will still happen.

I don't care what you think should be in a "food mod." Lots of mods have hidden changes. If you want to make a simplified version then do it. I'll even endorse it and link it in the description of this mod. We're done here.

@Sembo. I understand the reasoning for the change, but those are changes outside of what a Food mod should do, and they are not pointed at the description, comments or the changelog.

Why not add Hesh with its own squad of custom Deadcat Guards instead of changing the Deadcat Militia Squad that's used at several places? Other possibility it's to make him spawn at a bar or building with the AI job to stay at home/bar, so the guy never leave the place to get murdered.

@Anrhaa I added the militia because another user mentioned that hesh was getting murdered by Reavers. If I revert them then I get complaints about him getting killed before they can buy the recipe. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. At this point I would have to remake the mod for compatibility and I'm not willing to do that. If changing the load order doesn't work to fix your mod incompatibilities, then sorry, it's the way it is. I would not mind someone making a simplified mod that removes hesh altogether and just adds the recipes as a research tech. I'll even link it on my mod's page.

This mod do changes to Deadcat. It removes the original Militia Squad, replacing it with new characters, do changes to the weapons they can carry and modifies the relations of Deadcat with other factions.

Boss, could you remove/revert those changes? It'd be incompatible with mods that buff or modifies Deadcat.
