This day,11th of April,1 year ago,we made the WW2 collection server. At the time the WW2 collection was what? 20 guns with very outdated models and animations? But then we began remaking and making new, with Erazer on the forefront. Now we are way more than 2 people (You can check the contributor section in the pack!),and while we may slow down sometimes,we aren't nearly finished.Maps are on the works (slowly),the last remakes remaining are in the works, and you (the community) are one of the main factors that drives us to keep working. When you guys rally you are an unstoppable force. So here,as a tribute to the 1 year anniversary,we present to you,the (probably) definitive StG 44 remake.
Now for some lore as always:

Designed to mix the specifications of a rifle, machine gun,and carbine (and their roles),the StG 44 is considered the first assault rifle (due to it's use of an intermediate round).Development began as early as 1942,with the original designations of MP (Maschinenpistole) and MKb (Maschinenkarabiner).
Over time the weapon suffered mainly small production changes to speed up the work and cheapen the product. This culminated when the weapon got out of the prototype stage in 1944,with the final name being " Sturmgewehr 44".
The weapon was intended to replace all main infantry small arms (It was supposed to become the standard and replace the Kar98,the MP40,and the G43),though there were never enough rifles for the role,so it was issued to good shooters and soldiers in positions of importance

Also even if you're joking, i thought you meant the AK47 and had a typo. Regardless, even things like the Fedorov were designed to be machine rifles/machine guns, similar in purpose to the future BAR.
Kalashnikov himself went from an SMG to an assault rifle, but by the time he made that the StG had already been a thing for years (and the USSR had captured some) It's kinda funny too how Hitler is the one that made up the term assault rifle, and then the Soviets made it worldwide, but instead of basing theirs on the StG, they made a simpler design which some people compare to the Garand (although i think it was more convergent evolution).

and you know what he called it? an assault rifl. (rifl is cyrodilic for rifle)

the kalashnikova 1917 had a gas operated long stroke piston and was virtually recoilless all while being about the size of a small infant, all things the woke germanic media has kept from you. it's the very same rifle that rasputin used to assassinate karl marx bismarck at anor londo

The StG was the first assault rifle by virtue of the fact that the term assault rifle was invented to refer to it. Things like the Ribeyrolles, Fedorov and the Soviet prototypes (and in a way, the Mkb 42) were not called assault rifles, since the term didn't exist when they were made.
Even the MP43, which is the StG44 with another designation, was considered an SMG or a carbine.

@kiwi14 A lot of the big powers of 1940s had supressors and low level optics (red dot styled, not scoped style)
