His Master, Jaro Tapal, was killed before they could flee the Venator they were aboard when Order 66 happened. After living years in seclusion he was finally found and managed to escape the Second Sister and the Ninth Sister. In an vision gained by the power of a ancient mirror forged by the Zeffo on Bogano, Cal was able to see his possible future, in this future however, he was seen as a Inquisitor working for the Empire.
