Well, steam is the version I tried first and it didn't work. Even without any other mods, double checking that yes it did download and extract archive, etc.

The Steam Workshop and Nexus Mods versions were also updated for Stellaris 3.4 already

you need to get it from github and manually install it atm. at least in my experience, but the github upload does work.
