Realistic Planets - Fan Update

Açıklama
This is a fan update for the original mod, Realistic Planets by Rainbeau Flambe, that supports RimWorld version 1.1/1.2. Compatibility with 1.0 remains.

This mod is dependent on Harmony (version 1.1/1.2 only). Please install and load Harmony to use this mod.

Other changes:
- Compatibility with More Vanilla Biomes.
- Compatibility with Vanilla Fishing Expanded.
- Compatibility with Save Our Ship 2.
- Added Faction Control's new button on Create World page (credit: Kiame Vivacity).
- Planet tab in the world view shows settings used to generate world.
- Various texture changes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is this mod compatible with WorldEdit (RimWorld version 1.1/1.2)?
A: No, because WorldEdit uses an outdated version of Harmony and needs to be updated.

Q: Is this mod compatible with Rim War (RimWorld version 1.2)?
A: This mod prevents Rim War's button from appearing on the generate world page. Fixing this from this mod's end seems infeasible due to code differences.

Q: I have an issue/bug/error with this mod.
A: Post the bug in the comment section below or as a Github issue at https://github.com/SaucyPigeon/RW-Realistic-Planets-Fan-Update/issues. Please include the following, using a pastebin link or similar when appropriate:
  • Brief description of the bug

ok well just looking around at the source, I replaced the defunct UI methods with Listing_Standard and then modified the FactionGenerator.NewGeneratedFaction() harmony patch so that it's compatible with the way 1.3 changed it and it actually works without spitting out errors.

I would still have to fix a bug where using this mod removes the new faction settings menu on the world creation screen but that's probably an easy fix. So I'll upload it to my workshop page once I fix that.

I got annoyed at the default planets in my Ideology runs so I spent the last hour figuring out how Rimworld mods work. As a result, until somebody else makes a proper update, you should be able to find a slapdash 1.3-only version of this mod under id 2556713143

If no one makes a 1.3 update or says that they're working on one by the time I'm done updating all my own mods for 1.3, I'll do it myself and then post the link here. This is too useful of a mod to just not have.

It's not so much patience as "we haven't heard from this mod updater or the original mod creator in forever". Cause man this mod is necessary
