British Rail Standard Class 7 steam locomotive, by killakanz

Unlocks in 1951

The Standard Class 7, known as the 'Britannias', was British Rail's effort to combine the best locomotive design aspects from the 'big 4' pre-nationalisation British railway companies. They were fast and powerful, suited to both passenger and freight work. They were well liked by their crews. 55 were built, 2 survived into preservation, including no. 70000 'Britannia'.

@entaeklund 1951 - 1975.
Technically the end of Steam on Britain's railways was 1968, but I added a few more years of availability because the Standard 7 was introduced so late...

Oh magnificent. Your original was a staple of my post-war maps and your re-release late last year improved that even more. Looking forward to using this on up and coming TpF2 maps.
