Omschrijving
Diesel railcars of series 628 of Deutschen Bundesbahn and Deutschen Bahn AG in all existing liveries. Included are the prototype series 628.0 as well as the series 628.2 and 628.4.

As replacement for the older rail cars and accumulator railcars class 515 the Deutsche Bundesbahn was looking for new types in the early 1970's. They had to be as cost efficient as possible and flexible in usage, e.g. also on main lines. The first prototypes consist of two motorized rail cars, but there power was not very high, else they have been successful. The cars of the series later have been equipped with more powerful engines.

Availibility: from 1974 until 2005 (628.0) and from 1986 until 2020 (628.2) and from 1992 (628.4), Class 629 is available from 1995 and later.

It seems like this mod is not compatible with "no end year" mods, it will be available at year 1 if a "no end year" mod is enabled.

Thanks a lot, i have a shy friend who'd love to have a go with the reskins :)

Indeed, i didn't quite realize the small differences in both window and door layout, also considering that the MR's got paired with the MRD (which featured a flex-room of sorts for bicycles etc), further adding to the list. Anyhow, thanks a lot for taking the time to have a look at it, much appreciated! :)

@DirtenDK Repaints are always possible, if you don't ship the mesh data but have this mod as requirement.
For the different model I've checked Wikipedia page and it seems the Litra MR was a new built just based on the class 628. The model is similar but different, that would be a completely different build. Won't say it won't happen but we'll see :)

Great mod (wunderschön!) - thanks a lot! Would it be OK to make some skins for the DSB Litra MR trains? Or even better, would it be possible to make the DSB MR front of the train? It's slightly different to the original German ones, but it's a legendary DMU here in Denmark. I have no clue how much work goes in to such a change to the 3D model, so i ask with the greatest possible humility. :)

wenn du auf den Mod verlinkst und nur die Texturen (.mdl+.mtl+.dds) hochlädts, dann ist das wunderbar.
