Amtrak NEC Stuff

Опис
Equipment used along the Northeast Corridor. This mod features an overhauled model of the default AEM-7, as well as better Amfleet I cars. Includes:

AEM-7 in Amtrak Phases III, IV, and V
Amfleet I coach and cafe cars in Phases III, IV, and VI
ALP-44 in New Jersey Transit's livery
ACS-64 sound enhancement for Dadang's mod, with traction motors and basic blower sounds

-Custom sounds
-Helper variants of each locomotive with no horn, bell, and crew
-The helpers, except for the NJT ALP-44, are uniquely numbered.
-Appropriate pantographs for push-pull
-Assets included

Some sound samples used are from Kenny Huynh's Open Rails AEM-7 soundset[developments.t2pfilms.ca].

It's pretty annoying and I've tried fixing it but I think it comes down to an issue with the game's engine

Sometimes the sound cuts out for the engines. Reinstalling fixes the issue. Though, after sometime, the sound cuts out again.

It still happens sometimes when moving the camera.I wonder if changing the function into speed mode can help.

Hi,I might find a sound problem of aem-7dc after the recent update.The sound file 'aem7dc_fan' sometimes will be played intermittenly when locos stop.

Thanks for the AC upgrade, I've heard somewhere that AC Traction effectively halved the number of locos needed on freight trains and in my experience, the 133kN tractive on the AEM-7 are THE limiting factor preventing it from being a pretty useful loco. As for the hp value, guess I had it set to kW and thought it was hp... I sometimes suck at the easy things, sorry

It would, yes, although I couldn't find any information regarding its tractive effort. I did some searching now and found something so I updated the value to be higher. As for your horsepower question idk because the locomotives in this pack all have 7000 HP.

Small question, wouldn't the AEM-7 AC have more traction than the DC variant as iirc, the text says it can now pull 10 amfleet whereas the DC version could only pull 5? Something about better traction control and stuff... aand why does the AseaElectroMotive-7000hp only have 5xxxhp, iirc? Or did I completely fuck up at reading?
