The mod is unmaintained and broken. You can (at your own risk and with the blessing of your local gamer guild) try out the fixed reupload of the mod at: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3349281021

Warframe is a sci-fi looter shooter made by Digital Extremes[www.warframe.com] that focuses on space-magic-children piloting biomechanical machines of death, the titular Warframes. This mod adds four factions from the game into Stellaris.

What this includes:
  • 10 organic species potraits: Corpus (+Perrin Sequence), Grineer (+Steel Meridian), Orokin, Tenno, Warframes, Infested, Solaris and Ostrons
  • 8 namelists for the above species
  • 16 ruler rooms
  • 48 flag symbols
  • Sounds for Corpus and Grineer

What might possibly be added in the future:
  • Orokin species?
  • Corpus/Grineer faction variants (Perrin Sequence/Steel Meridian/)?
  • More Warframes?
  • The Infested?
  • Sounds for Orokin/Infested?
  • Solaris
  • Ostrons
  • Custom city sets?

What is almost certainly not going to be added:
  • Warframe ships (can't 3D)

If the mod's not up to the game's current version, don't despair, it should still work since it only adds species portraits and content relevant to those. If there any problems, do let me know. Cheers!

@Bazoopa just letting you all know it is almost done but we've run into a snag. For some reason none of the machine portrait are working. we have all organics good to go but yeah we've been stuck on it all week. Cant make the machines look right their heads are all missing.

Did anyone found how to make this work for the current game version ? I did the notepad edit from darkdescent comment but only warframe emblem spawn there is no species to be found, or does it require a DLC I don't have ?

Ah I was "the reddit guy", sorry, I asked Ranger for help on Reddit since they had done some work previously updating mods like this and I wanted their help doing that for this mod for my own personal use. :) I think they might have thought I was you, sorry!

@Ranger: hey I don't know what the fuck reddit guy you are (sorry!) but uhh I am very lazy! I originally intended to update the mod when Stellaris is done pushing out updates so I wouldn't have to do it as well? But they still, years later, do. Scary! The problem I have is that if I were to come back to the mod, not only would it be extremely out of date with what concerns the Warframe lore (which, well, wtf) but I would also be compelled to re-do most of the texture because they look super terrible to me in hindsight.

tl;dr: people who want to use the mod just tweak a couple values locally when playing it. I can't guarantee an "official" update to it.
