Public Transport Fever

Dont worry guys not all new game are perfect or optimized properly. The developers of transport fever 2 is still fixing the game. Just give it more time and everything will be fine. Plus this game is more extensive in RAM and CPU. But i found something in this game is that is the higher the RAM the better the game will run.

@InfiniNorth That's good, right? More things on the map is better! It isn't the creator's fault, it is the game for not being made for such things.

Unfortunately, even with a fairly modern machine, traffic has massive stutters. Framerate is fine, but the traffic freezes for two seconds at a time with a half second of movement following. This includes people, ships, planes, everything, This isn't a traffic issue. This is a "way too much on this map" issue.

@holmes I think wide roads + bus lanes are doing the best job for me. A big highway through the city with on and off ramps is also working. You can also try with some mods for more street types like this one: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1933747406 - This mod adds a tram-only road that you could use to skip all the traffic in the city. I'm also working on a second map focused more on long range transportation - it will have more big cities but they will be smaller and pretty far from each other so the gridlock shouldn't be that challenging.

I've tried this map several times now but i just can't get past the massive gridlock. Anyone that can offer any tips how to solve this?

@RodrigoCompai You are right, i must have forgotten about the fuel factories, I'm so sorry about that. I have updated the map, now there are two factories - one is near farms and the other one is near one of the small cities.

There is no industry producing fuel and some parts of the city demands fuel, so should i play with sandbox mode so i can plop it or you missed it?
