Mafe Patch for Quest Generation Issues

You can fix it yourself – will require a run to “restart” the numbers.

Below is the default file path - you should check if you have mod conflict on that file.

Steam -> steamapps -> common -> DarkestDungeon -> campaign -> number.quest.generation

You should see something like this

"number_of_quests_per_town_visit_table": [
2,
6,
8,
9,
10,
11,
12,
13

Just change all those numbers to 50, that fixed it for me.

If you want more quests per area, there's another file in the same folder - quest.generation.json

You should see this line:

"generated_quests_max_threshold": 4

Change that number to anything over 4 and you'll see more quests per area to show up. Experiment at your own risk.

i think this mod is currently outdated

causes a crash for me too

@[TheVortex] millman Yes, that mod fixes that. What it does its enabling always the max number possible of quests, so you are never ran out of em.
