More Timbers

In the very early days of Medieval Engineers there was a mod that added different variations of timbers. It was long dead since and many people missed the possibilities it offered. Well, now the time has come to bring those back.

Blocks included in this mod:
- Smooth Timbers - a variation of timbers without bevels and with a slightly smaller hitbox. Perfect for mechanical stuff.
- Half Timbers - timbers that have been cut in half
- Offset Half Timbers - half timbers, but offset by 1/4 of a block. Allow for very smooth decorations when used with planks.
- Half Round Timbers 1 - round timbers that are flat on one side
- Half Round Timbers 2 - round timbers cut in half
- Timber Edges - various small parts to fill gaps or edges.
- Plank Arched Roofs - perfect for locomotive and car roofs

The mod should be survival ready. If there are any issues, please let me know.

That is issue. I have crafted timber edges on table and got "Half Timber Edge" in inventory. I have chosen 1-10 Plank quarter edge from global block menu and placed it on toolbar. And I got message that I don't have valid parts in inventory.

As addition to issue, I discovered it trough blueprints. I have created blueprint in creative game. In survival game I have used BP table to place BP in the world and craft it. I have placed houndreds of other parts properly, but game can't recognize more timber parts, despite having it in inventory.

Besides mentioned, it is unconvinient for small block parts that use other resources like large blocks to craft them. In all other mod with parts, what you craft at table and got in inventory, you use it on toolbar and change with mouse scroll to desired part.

I know what you mean. They both have the same icon (because i added them quickly lately and didn't have time to make a unique one) and they both use the same item as requirement. If you want to place the latter, just drag their group from the T menu onto the hotbar. Then you can place them if you have timber edges in your inventory.

I can make them be a separate item with separate crafting recipies but i didn't see the point as they are just an extension of the already existing part.

Something does not work right for me then. It may be mod interaction or something. And it seems that we don't talk about same item. I have created several screenshots of problematic items like this one:

Otherwise, yes, all part pack is great, I have cut off part numbers by half and craft looking better too.

They use the same item as timber edges. In fact they are one of the blocks from the timber edges group, just scaled up to 10 to avoid having to place hunderds of 1x1 parts, as these seem to be used very often.

Plank edge quarter 10 to 1. How it can be crafted in survival game ? On what workstation ?
I have those in small block menu, but can't craft them on either, crafting table forge or shipyard. Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Of course, fixed. It's a workshop bug that happened and made the dependencies be backwards (it's the timbers that should be the dependency, not the other way around). Thanks for letting me know.

hello again. is it possible to avoid the dependencie when using this mod? i want to use only these timbers, i dont need 50 other blocks.
