This concept is type 10 phaser bank..
This Mod is for Star Trek ships.
This turret looks like a beam-type phaser. It shoots short lasers at fast cycles.
- low continuous shot
- Low Time Until Depleted
- Low recharge time
-Damage Type: Energy
-ShieldDamageMultiplicator = 2
-hullDamageMultiplicator = 1.5
-blockPenetration : true
-Battery charge turret

-Type-6 Phaser
Range = 5000m - 10000m
Fire rate = 0.2
shoottime = 1

-Type-10 Phaser
Range = 8000m - 10000m
Fire rate = 0.2
shootingTime = 1

-Type-12 Phaser
Range = 100000m - 15000m
Fire rate = 0.15
shootingTime = 1.5

-Fake Photon torpedo
Coaxial gun type cannon

-This is a simple Mod.
If a patch is changed to Railgun or turret system, it may stop working.

**** Basic Fast Cycle Laser (Phaser bank ) Recipe for Custom Turret Builders
Number Weapon = A
Battery recharge rate=5xA, battery charge capacity=30xA,
-energy per shot 2.0
-Fire rate 5.0 (Firing in 0.2 seconds)

-Auto fire spamming laser adjustment
--spamming laser shot time is the amount of battery power remaining when the battery is depleted and the turret is restarted.
It is about 25% of the "battery charge capacity
--Auto fire spamming laser reload time is the cool time to restart when the battery is depleted.
Use "Battery recharge rate" to adjust this.
A low "Battery recharge rate" will increase the reload time of the Auto fire spamming laser.
A higher "battery recharge rate" will decrease the reload time of the Auto fire spamming laser.
*Note: High recharge rates will destroy spamming lasers.

If number weapon = 3 (triple)
Battery recharge rate=5x3=15, battery charge capacity=30x3=90
(energy per shot 2.0x Fire Rate 5.0)x3 = 30 energy consumption per second

There appears to be a bug in which you cannot make any kind of phasers at a turret factory.

I changed the size of the bullets.
I think the default coaxial gun works fine.

And I added a guided missile type photon torpedo.
You can make them at the turret factory.

And i am using turret models with a muzzle point REALLY far from the hull.

I'm having the same problem. Most photon torpedo launchers will simply just explode the instant they're fired instead of actually launching a projectile. It's ridiculously annoying.

Hey Deep, just wanted to let you know that I'm using Coaxial Photon Torpedoes without custom models and they are exploding before they leave the turret. However, I did happen to find Photon Torpedoes that aren't coaxial, for some reason, and those work fine.

The addition of homing bullets is possible.
Photon torpedoes do not have this "guided missile" flag.

The F Photon Torpedo has a slightly larger bullet than the default.
This makes the location of the "muzzle point" of the custom and default turrets problematic.
Bullets and beams come out of the "muzzle point".
If the "muzzle point" is close to the hull, the bullet will hit the hull.

This is the cause of your trouble.
The solution is to move the "muzzle point" of your custom turret away from the hull.
Try changing the position of that "muzzle point" to a higher position.
You should be able to fire photon torpedoes.

You can change the "muzzle point" in turret build mode.

Both did not fire properly with the torpedo exploding pretty much instantly.

Besides that, question about the mod, can these torpedoes have homing/guided variants?
