This is a very small and highly compatible mod that simply removes all armor edges from all armor blocks. This will work with all modded blocks as well and shouldn't need any updates after Keen patches or the like.

AQD - A Quantum of Depth is a project of mine, encompassing multiple small and larger mods aimed at improving the gameplay experience and eventually overhauling larger parts of the game:

Removes all armor edges from all armor blocks.

  • From what I've seen, traditionally armor-edge-removal-mods do so by editing CubeBlocks.sbc. This works but means that every time something gets changed about the blocks themselves, the mod needs to be updated. I go about it in a different way: I run a script on load, which dynamically removes the edges from all armor blocks.

I use this mod myself on all my worlds and it definitely works fine.

do i have to start a new game for this to take effect? doesnt seem to be working..

I'm not to sure how difficult it would be but by chance would you be able to texture glass blocks on large or small grids to have no edges as well? I love your mod collection in my survival worlds because theyre excellent for making small grids feel better. However I'm constantly running into the issue of making walkable interiors on small ships because the glass edges are horrendous when making a proper bridge.

HI there, is possible for you to make a mod that change armor panels texture to the same look of the regular blocks? i hate to see all the Z diagonal lines lol and tx
