"A recent issue regarding how the Workshop functions with Source engine games has been brought to our attention. If you get an error regarding conflicting or differing files upon entering a server running Screaming Steel it is likely you already have Screaming Steel files locally, but you're not manually subscribed to the workshop items - this happens when you've joined a server running the mod in the past where the items were automatically downloaded upon joining.
This apparently causes issues whenever an update to the workshop items are pushed, as Steam will not automatically update workshop items downloaded from servers, resulting in file conflicts when trying to join a server running the updated files. If you've faced this issue, or if you know someone who does we recommend you manually subscribe to our workshop collection:
