Sounds like he never owned anything. Even if he did port, he's been shady for over a decade.
Even gave some trouble to "Game Maps" with the original port from the first L4D.
I'm confident we'd have Age of Chivalry's blessings to make a proper L4D2 port.
Considering the trouble Daniel gave them and lack of communication even back then.
They'd probably be very happy if someone made a safer and better port.
Thinking about contacting "Timelord Magnum Dave" about it, he's ported survival maps.
So... Daniel doesn't own the rights to shit... and anyone can take it and modify it.
No more of his abusive malicious behavior taking advantage of users.
I found that after being curious about the version from the first Left 4 Dead.
Also, it's on a different account in the first Left 4 Dead section.
He probably dind't really do anything for the first version.
