[Ry]Rimcraft Metals

Descripción
Rimcraft Metals, a fantasy ore sub-mod used for Rimcraft or used stand-alone.

Feature Overview
- New WoW-Lore related ores and ingots such as Thorium and Dark Iron, both of which have special properties.

This mod is very much a work in progress, with the intent to add more custom lore-specific metals fitting within the Warcraft universe. Constructive criticism, suggestions, and ideas are very much appreciated.

Keep in mind not all ores listed are necessarily implemented in-game.

@Ryflamer is this mod going to get an update? im revamping my mod list and im trying to find out which mods will get an update and which ones wont be.

@Mad Doctor it's probably because vanilla metal walls are also burnable. IIRC you need at least stone to avoid that.

Hey to anyone currently enjoying the mod/tracking it’s progress I’m letting y’all know that I’m currently taking another bit of a break from the mod/s due to a bit of burnout. I’ll always be around to fix issues that may come up as I’m not disappearing from the Internet but for the time being progress on the mod is going to come to a halt.

That being said to those who’re looking to contribute in any way to it feel free to hit me up on Discord and I should be able to get back to you in a timely manner. Whether it’s just basic art, faction/race additions, backstories, etc.. any sort of content so long as it’s WoW lore appropriate and a similar quality to existing content I’m down to add it.

I’ll be back to modding sometime in the future but for the time being Rimcraft will be going on hiatus. Thanks for all the support and kind words thus far!

I am trying out this mod on a new playthrough, but I am noticing a startling lack of other precious stones generating on the map... even when using map reroll to regenerate the map over and over. Things like Jade and Gold are no longer spawning... while your Mithril/Dark Iron, etc... are spawning instead. This mod doesn't eat up the spawn rate of the vanilla stones does it?

@Boolyman They do all of the above and most tend to have unique properties compared to existing vanilla metals.
