LEFT 4 DEAD -生存者たち- Haruka Hirose (Coach)

 
"Step aside Zoey, everyone's new Waifu is in town! Meet Haruka Hirose, the Japanese Schoolgirl on a trip to America. She is from the Japanese Exclusive Arcade game known as Left 4 Dead: Survivors and since the game's online service has been discontinued since July of 2016, myself and many others wondered if we would ever get access to the game files, and that day eventually came. So myself, Tiny King Trashmouth, Dr.Tony, and a few others finally began to happily work on porting these! Haruka comes with her rig from the Arcade game with Jigglebones, face flexes, and replaces Coach just like she does in the Arcade Game. Her voice files from the arcade game is also Included. ( Voice packless version coming soon )."

1. Download the .rar for Haruka's voice files from here (replace where it says (dot) with a . ): mega(dot)nz/#!hEZQEQzC!QXWpkA_l2k8zo5nbUotnSopqVsAxd9Gf3mY1-8hUryc

2. Backup Coach's Vanilla audio files ( this is so you can easily revert back to his original audio if you need to) from these two folders:
[ Base L4D2 voice files ] Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach
[ Parish DLC voice files ] Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach

3. Extract and unpack the Haruka Voice files.rar folder. Open the Haruka Voice Files folder you extracted and simply copy and paste the "coach" folder from the two folders labelled into the folder for their respective files.

So for the folder that says "Base Haruka voice files" you copy the "coach" folder from inside that and paste it here: Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach

For the folder that says "Parish DLC Haruka voice files" you copy the "coach" folder from inside that and paste it here: Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\coach

4. Launch L4D2 and open up the console. now type snd_rebuildaudiocache and hit enter. The game might freeze, do not worry, this is perfectly normal and eventually it will finish rebuilding the audio cache. Once it does, the console will still be enabled. Now you type snd_updateaudiocache and hit enter, once again the game might freeze, which is perfectly normal. Once it has finished, you can restart L4D2.

( If you don't know how to enable the console go to Options->Keyboard/Mouse and Enable developer console from the options tab in the L4D2 main menu. Alternatively you can Go to your Steam library and right click L4D2 then choose launch properties. Write "-console". Next time console should appear when you start the game. Then When you start l4d2 with -console type in : bind "~" "toggleconsole" )

5. If you followed the instructions carefully, when you play L4D2 the audio for Haruka will play as intended with no audio cutoffs, static, or pitch shifts.

6. Restart the game and enjoy the new audio files!!


1. If you wish to revert back to Coach's original audio, just copy and paste the coach audio you backed up to their original folders and rebuild the audio cache once again.
